Cover

  • The cover cleverly contrasts the work attire of Lily (left) and Pru (right). The image appears in the story on P5,p3.

panel 1

  • The seated woman is the first appearance of Lily. Lily is apparently the Lilith, a succubus (demon woman that seduces men).
  • Pru is the “goddamned paramedic” second from the right.
  • “Heir to the fucking Can Der Shit fortune” apparently refers to someone/something – suggest??

  • “Some men it’s ok to lead into temptation” refers to “and lead us not into temptation” a line from the Lord’s Prayer.

panel 5

  • Pru has accidentally nailed it saying (incorrectly) “It’s not like you’re some succubus dragging damned souls down to hell.”

panel 6

  • Most people Pru’s age wouldn’t know the somewhat archaic word “succubus”.
  • Lily is likely millennia old.

panel 5

  • Lezdar,” the female equivalent of gaydar, is the ability for people to perceive a woman is a lesbian. Lily incorrectly assumed Pru to be lesbian.
